Daffodil school has won the title of U13 football fest held at Dalbhanjyang, Gorkha.

Daffodil defeated Laxmi community sikchya sadan 2-0 in the final match played on Monday.

The champions received Nrs 11,111 while runners up team got Nrs 5,555.

In veterans category, Gorkha DFA A defeated Gorkha DFA B 4-0 in the final match. Both teams received goat each.

Hosts The Ocean club honored former Nepal international Bikash Malla. His father Tek Bahadur Malla received the honor on behalf of him.

Roshan Shrestha received the ocean club player of the year award and Prem Gurung from Palungtar was honored with life time achievement award.

Kabir Tamang from Daffodil was declared the player of the tournament.

Gorkha mayor Rajan Raj Panta, ward chairman Kul Bahadur Kunwar, club president Amit Khatri, club adviser Kajiram Khatri and other guests distributed prizes to the winners.
