Mug Mug Jhapa gold cup is kicking off tomorrow at Domalal Rajbanshi football ground, Birta, Jhapa.

Hosts Jhapa XI will take on Sahara club, Pokhara in the opening match at 3 PM.

Coach Prabesh Katuwal said they had prepared well for the event. Skipper Karna Limbu said Jhapa gold cup is very important for them.

"Jhapa gold cup is very important for us. We want to win the match within 90 minutes", said Limbu.

Sahara coach Praladh Hirachan said that the match against Jhapa XI would be interesting one.

"We feel happy to play against Jhapa at their home", said Hirachan.

Skipper Man Bahadur Tamang said they would respect Jhapa.

"Jhapa is a good team and we respect them", said Tamang.

10 teams are participating in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 12,50,000.
