Jhapa: Youth Union, Hansakuwa Beats Parijat Women's Club
Youth Union, Hansakuwa, India defeated Parijat Women's Club, Jhapa 4-2 on penalties in the opener of invitational women's football tournament at Kakarvitta school ground on Sunday.
Mechinagar Mayor Bimal Acharya, deputy mayor Mina Upreti, Jhapa DFA President Bhagirath Ale and others jointly inaugurated the tournament.

The match was forced to spot-kick battle after both teams played 1-1 draw in the regulation time.
Karishma Nagshiya scored a goal in the first half for the winning team while Malika Magar scored an equalizer for Parijat.

Goal scorer Karishma Nagshiya was declared the woman of the match. She received Rs.2000.
Satashidham Sporting Club will take on Kankai Sports Academy in tomorrow's match.
