Defending champs Letang FC has crashed out from Sukhani Martyr Memorial Women's Gold Cup football tournament in Jhapa.

Kankai city sports committee, Jhapa defeated Letang FC 1-0 on Saturday to enter semifinals.

Pabitra Rai scored the match winner.

Rita Gajmer from the winning side became the woman of the match and received Nrs 2,000 cash.

Ilam will play against Mount Everest sporting club on Sunday.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 1,01,000.
