Nepal skipper Biraj Maharjan said they will try to defend the title of bangabandhu gold cup.

Team Nepal is flying to Sylhet today to compete in the championship. They are grouped with Tajikistan and Palestine.

"All the players are fit. They are in good form
. Opponent teams are higher ranked teams but it doesn’t mean that we are weaker.


"We will try to defend the title.
 Two important players are not in the team but we have good players who can fill their void", added Maharjan.
