3rd Pathivara Gold Cup: New Star Club Jhapa Enters SFs

New Star club, Jhapa has entered semifinals of 3rd Pathivara gold cup football tournament.

New Star club defeated 10-man Karna Singh Sonam memorial club 1-0 in a competitive match played in Fungling on Monday.

Roman Bhujel scored the match winner through free kick in 93rd minute.

Jiwan Dhami became the man of the match and he received Rs 5,000 cash.

Rastriya Jagriti yuwa club will play against Kuersong FC, Darjeeling on Tuesday.

Lakhe Jatra organizing committee is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 3 lakh.
