3rd Pathivara Gold Cup Kicks Off; Red Horse Ilam Beats Kanchanjunga Fungling In The Opener

3rd Pathivara gold cup got underway in Fungling, Taplejung on Friday.

Red Horse Ilam defeated Kanchanjunga Fungling club 1-0 in the opening match. Praful Gurung scored the match winner in 32nd minute.

Red Horse Ilam defender Niraj Basnet became the man of the match.

Karna Singh Sonam Taplejung will play against Phidim sporting club on Saturday. He received Rs 5,000 cash.

Lakhe Jatra organizing committee is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 3 lakh.
