Kathmandu: Sidheshowr Budhanilkanta 1st Women's Championship Kicks Off

Sidheshwor Budhanilkanta 1st Women's championship got underway at Budhanilkanta on Tuesday.

Hosts Sidhwshwor Sarokar Samaj defeated Dream team 7-0 in the opening match.

Anita Shrestha scored a hat trick while Manisha Thapa Magar scored a brace for the winners. Sita ale Magar and Laxmi Tamang scored apiece.

In the second match, Kumari Futsal defeated Pasang College team 3-2.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 50,000. Runners up team will get Rs 25,000.
