Nepal international Nawayug Shrestha has been promoted to warrant officer 1 (Subedar) from warrant officer 2 (Jamadar). 



Shrestha was promoted to said position on Thursday.



There are many other players who have received promotion. 



Hiaranya Magar, Ganga Deuja, Dip Lama have been promoted to Warrant officer second class from Sergeant. Yuddha Shahi has been promoted to warrant officer second class. 



Jitendra Karki, Tanka Basnet, Bikash Tamang, Padam Tamang and Dipak Gurung have been promoted to Sergeant. 

Bibek Basnet, Gandip Khadka, Surya Chaudhary and Bimal Pandey have been promoted to lance corporal.
 
Retired Nepal Army players Bishwo Bairag Samal and Mahendra Khawas have been promoted to warrant officer first class.



Referee duo Padam Bhujel and Madhav Khatri have also been promoted to sergeant.
