Kathmandu district women's team has won the title of vice president inter district football championship in Hetauda, Makwanpur.

Kathmandu defeated Sindhupalchowk 1-0 in the final match played on Thursday. Sunkala Rai scored the match winner.

Rajani Shrestha from Sindhupalchowk became the queen of the final match.

The champions received Rs 30,000 while runners up team got Rs 15,000.

Province minister Yubaraj Dulal, ANFA general secy Indraman Tuladhar, ANFA Makwanpur prez Tikaram Lama, district sports committee president Madhav Timalsina distributed prizes to the winners.

ANFA Makwanpur organized the championship.
