Juntara women's team has entered semifinals of 1st Sunshine women's football championship in Mechinagar, Jhapa.

Juntara defeated Satasidham sporting club, Jhiljile 2-1 in a tightly contested match on Tuesday.

Manisha Bista and Kusum Khatiwoda scored apiece for the winners. Anita Rai scored for Satasidham.

Manisha Bista became the queen of the match. She received Rs 1,000 cash and 5l cooking oil.

Hosts Sunshine women's team will play against Jhapa yuwa in the first semifinal match today.
