Nepal international Sabitra Bhandari has been nominated in NSJF female player of the year award.

NSJF organized press meet in Kathmandu to let the press know about the nomination.

Bhandari will compete against Shova Gauchan from Badminton, Gyanu Awale from Archery, Bimala Shrestha from Boxing and Nabita Shrestha from Table Tennis.

There is no player from football listed in male PoY.

In youth player of the year category, U19 and Army midfielder Dinesh Henjam has been nominated with Sandeep Lamichane and Dipendra Singh Aire from Cricket, Manita Shrestha from Judo and Punam Rawal from Boxing.

In best coach category, Chirring Lopsang has been nominated with Jagat Tamata from cricket, Jayanta Kumar Shrestha from Badminton and Prakash Thapa Magar from Boxing.

NSJF is organizing the function on Jestha 3 at Army officers club.
