Jhapa: Birtamod United Enters SFs In New Star Challenge Cup

Birtamod United has entered semifinals in New star challenge cup at Khopbari, Jhapa.

Birtamod defeated Sanischare FC 3-1 in the quarterfinal match played on Sunday.

Aashish Chapagain scored a brace while Yogesh Gurung scored another for the winners. Puspa Maden scored a consolation goal.

Chapagain became the man of the match.

Sainik youth club will meet Kakarvitta football training centre on Monday.

Eight teams are participating in the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 51,000.
