Sankhuwasabha: Chainpur Municipality Beats Sadananda In The Opener Of Province 1 Inter Municipality Cup

Province 1 inter municipality cup got underway at Chainpur, Sankhuwasabha on Saturday.

Chainpur defeated Sadananda municipality from Bhojpur 12-2 in the opening match.

Nishan Limbu scored six goals alone while Bhuwan Basnet scored a hat trick. Niraj Basnet scored a brace while Sushil Rai scored another for the winners.

Chainput fielded most of the players from Morang and Sunsari.

!2 municipalities are competing in the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 3 lakh.

Runners up team will get Rs 2 lakh.
