Regal Hetauda Resort ANFA Makawanpur has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing First Marin Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament. In the quarter-final match held on Monday, ANFA Makawanpur defeated Dudhauli Municipality, Sindhuli 3-1.

In the victory of ANFA Makawanpur, Lalit Chaulagain scored two goals and Roshan Dong scored another goal from a penalty. On the other hand, Sanjiv Dhami scored the only goal for the defeated Dudhauli. Lalit Chaulagain of ANFA Makawanpur, who scored two goals in the match, was adjudged the Man of the Match.

Similarly, in another match held on Monday, Bagmati Rural Municipality, Makawanpur defeated Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality, Sindh 2-0 to enter the quarter-finals. Pawan Darlami and Shree Magar scored goals for Bagmati. Shree Magar of Bagmati was also declared the Man of the Match in the match.

The winner of the competition, organized by Mungre United Youth Club, Marin Rural Municipality-2, Mungre Khatdamar, Sindhuli, will receive a cash prize of Rs 300,000 along with the title. The final match will be held on Magh 25.
