Bagmati Youth Club, Sarlahi, has made a winning start in the first Marine Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament organized by Mungray United Youth Club, Marine Rural Municipality-2, Mungray Khatdamar, Sindhuli, which began on Sunday.

In the opening match, Bagmati managed to make a winning start by defeating Katari Tiger Football Club, Udayapur in a tiebreaker. Before that, both teams played an exciting 1-1 draw in the regular time.

In the regular time, Anil Magar scored for Bagmati, while Kiran Danuwar scored for Katari Tiger. In the tiebreaker, Bagmati managed to win 4-2 over Katari Tiger.
