Nepal and Bangladesh are set to compete for the title of the South Asian Football Federation (SAF) Women's Championship 2024.

The final match will take place at Dasharath Stadium this evening at 6:30 PM, where Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will be in attendance to present awards to the champions.

Nepal secured their spot in the final by defeating India 4-2 on penalties, while Bangladesh triumphed over Bhutan with a resounding 7-1 victory. Both teams enter this championship match undefeated and are determined to claim the title.

Nepal aims to win the SAFF Championship for the first time by overcoming their formidable rivals, Bangladesh. Since the tournament's inception in 2010, Nepal has reached the final five times but has yet to clinch the trophy.

In the last six editions, Nepal finished as runners-up on five occasions—losing four times to India and once to Bangladesh—and faced elimination in one semi-final.
