While we are still catching up to some of the bigger esports nations, there’s no doubt that the talent is there. What we need is more exposure, more competitions like the PSL, and better support systems to help our players reach their full potential.

Q: What has been the response from the Nepali diaspora to the Pardeshi Super League?

Sunil Lama Tamang: The response has been overwhelmingly positive. We’ve had interest from Nepali expats in countries all over the world—Qatar, UAE, the UK, Australia, and more. It’s been incredible to see how excited people are about this tournament. It really shows that esports can be a powerful tool for bringing people together, even when they’re far from home.

Sunil Lama Tamang: I believe that the PSL can serve as a blueprint for future esports tournaments in Nepal.
