APF Football Club, a contender for the title in the ANFA Women's League National Football Tournament, won its first victory on Saturday.
In the final match of the second round and the divisional clash, APF won 2-1 against another divisional team, Tribhuwan Army Football Club.
Sabita Rana Magar and Geeta Rana Magar scored for APF in the match at the ANFA Complex located in Satdobato. Bimala Chaudhary scored only one goal for the defeated army.
After this result, APF is in third place in the league table with 4 points from 2 matches. Defeated Army is in fifth place with three points. Koshi province is in the top position with 6 points.
A total of 10 participating teams, the winner of the league will receive 1 million in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 5 million.
