3rd Durable Freedom Foundation Cup, organized by the Freedom Foundation, has successfully concluded in Louisville, Kentucky, with seven teams vying for top honors. The event, held over the Labor Day weekend, showcased thrilling matches and exceptional sportsmanship.

In a standout performance, George Atlanta emerged as the champion, securing a cash prize of $6,000 and an individual trophy. The team’s impressive display was highlighted by the exceptional skills of Mr. Leela Mainali, who was named the Final Man of the Match.

The second place was claimed by Cincy Rhino Freedom, who took home $4,000 in cash and an individual trophy. Assurance Insurance from Columbus, Ohio, rounded out the top three, receiving a medal and a trophy along with a $2,000 gas price award.

Pittsburgh Pennsylvania was honored with the Fairplay Team trophy for their exemplary sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The Man of the Match for the third-place game went to Keshar Khatiwada, known for his hat-trick performance.

The MVP of the tournament was awarded to Sukman Suhang Subba from Peach State Georgia, number seven, in recognition of his outstanding contributions. The tournament coordinator, Mr. Prakash Gartoula, presented the awards, with President Hari Bangaley honoring all those involved in making the event a success.

Special thanks were extended to Jitu Basnet Kaka, the US active referee, for ensuring a peaceful tournament since day one. The event’s media partner, GoalNepal.com, has been a steadfast supporter since the inception of the Durable Freedom Cup.
