In the first FIFA international friendly football match between Bangladesh and Bhutan national women's football team, Bangladesh won by a wide margin. Bangladesh defeated Bhutan 5-1 in the first friendly match in Thimphu on Wednesday.

Bhutan took the early lead in the match at Changlimithang National Stadium in Thimphu. In the 13th minute of the match, the home team took a sensational lead through Pema Chiring's goal, but then the visiting team Bangladesh dominated.

Sagorka scored a hat-trick for Bangladesh. She completed the hat trick by scoring in the 49th, 76th and 90th minutes of the game. Similarly, two more goals were scored by Sabina Khatun in the 53rd minute and Ritu Purna Chakma in the 55th minute.

Bangladesh, who came to Thimpu for two international friendly football matches, will play the second international friendly match on July 27.
