
Nepal Police Club had a great start with a wide victory, another departmental team, APF, was held to a draw in ANFA Youth League U-18 football tournament
Police defeated Three Star Club by a wide margin of 7-2 in the first match at ANFA Complex on Monday. While Bikram Gautam scored four goals with a hat-trick in Police's victory, Subas Bam, Sajanraj Gautam and Aditya Dhungel scored 1 each. Sanil Syangtan and Arun Tamata scored for the defeated Three Star.
In another match held on Monday, APF shared the points with Jawalakhel Youth Club by drawing 1-1. In the match Ayush Phuyal scored for APF while Vivas Darlami scored for Jawalakhel.
A total of 12 teams are participating in the competition based on double round robin league. The team that gets the top position in the league will be the winner. The winner will receive 1 lakh in cash along with the title, while the second place team will receive 50,000.
