The closed training of the U-20 National Men's Football Team, which is preparing for the SAFF U-20 Championship, has started from Sunday.
The team started training without proper training kit.
The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has informed that the closed training of the U-20 national team has started for the preparation of SAFF U-20 Championship. The SAFF U-20 Championship will be held in Kathmandu from August 18.
40 players are participating in the closed training of SAFF U20. The coaching staff of head coach Urjan Shrestha is training the team.
In the championship, Nepal is in Group A with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Group B consists of India, Maldives and Bhutan. The top two teams from both groups will enter the semi-finals.
Nepal will play Sri Lanka in the opening match on August 18.
