14 players from Jhapa district have been selected for SAFF U-20 Championship and AFC U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers 2024.

The Jhapa District Football Association called for selection on Monday. Sher Bahadur Basnet, General Secretary of the Association informed that 14 of the 74 participants were selected. The selected players will compete in the state-level selection competition on June 14.

According to him, Pujan Thapa, Sujat Khadka, Vishal Mardi, Hemant Limbu, Prashant Laxam, Niraj Karki, Nikhil Tamang, Seventh Thapamgar, Ayush Timsina, Nishant Tamang, Asimjung Karki, Vikram Tamang, Pravesh Tamang and Ankit Air have been selected.

Nepal is hosting SAFF U20 while Bhutan is hosting SAFF U17 championship.
