Salhesh Yuva Club, Siraha won the title of the 11th Gorkha Rara Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament held on Wednesday with a tough and exciting victory.

In the final, Salhesh defeated the host Rara Football Club in a tiebreaker and became the champion.

Before that, both the teams played an exciting 1-1 draw in the regular time match at the Rajarani Stadium. In the tiebreaker, Salhesh managed to capture the title by winning 4-2 over the host Rara.

Salhesh, who became the winner, received 500,000 cash along with the title, while the runner-up organizer Rara was forced to settle for 250,000 with a trophy, medal and certificate.
