Royal Gym House Suryapur FC has entered the semifinals of the Central First Bharatpur 18 Gold Cup Football. Suryapur secured a place in the semi-finals by winning easily against Madi 2 in the last quarter-final held on Saturday.

Suryapur won 4-1 in the match at Bharatpur 18 ground. Suresh Kumal and Vicky Chamling Rai scored two goals each. Madi's Nikhil Mahato scored one goal. Suresh scored in the 21st minute of the first half to give Suryapur the lead.

Suryapur added three goals in the second half. Suresh scored his second personal goal in the 20th minute of the second half and Suryapur doubled the lead. In the 31st minute of the second half, Nikhil scored and signaled Madi to return to the game. But in the 35th minute, Suryapur took a 3-1 lead after Vicky scored a pass from Suresh.

Suryapur won 4-1 after Vicky scored his personal second goal in extra time again through Suresh's pass. Suresh who scored two goals and two assists was Man of the Match.

Meanwhile, Suresh has given the man of the match award to his fellow player Nimesh Moktan. Nimesh's father Madhav Moktan is being treated in ICU at College of Medical Sciences (Old Medical College) Bharatpur due to heart problem. Suresh gave his award to Nimesh for his treatment.

With this match, the quarter-final matches are over. The semi-final matches will start from tomorrow. Central College 28 Bigha and Hanami Bharatpur Football Club will meet tomorrow in the first semi-final. In the second semi-final, the host Bharatpur 18 and today's winner Suryapur FC will compete on Monday.

The winner of the competition, which will run until Baisakh 26, will receive 222,222 rupees and the runner-up will receive 111,111 rupees. The best player of the tournament, best goalkeeper, midfielder, defender and top scorer will receive five thousand rupees each and the man of the match will receive two thousand rupees.
