With a thrilling win, Khotang Bhagwati Sports Club, Khotang has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing 7th Bhojpur Mayor Gold Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament here.

In the second quarter-final held on Monday, Khotang beat Rara Football Club, Rajarani, Dhankuta 2-1 and made it to the last four. Martin scored both goals for Khotang in the match at Bhojpur Stadium. Sunil Khadka scored only one goal for the defeated Rara.

Khotang's Martin who scored two decisive goals in the match was also elected man of the match. Under the competition, the third quarter-final match on Tuesday 11th Baisakh will be held between Dangihat Youth Club, Morang and Salhesh Youth Club, Siraha, informed the organizers.

The winner of the tournament organized by the Bhojpur District Football Association will receive a cash prize of 5 lakhs along with a title, while the runner-up will receive 3 lakhs. The final match will be held on the 15th of Baisakh.
