Faran Football Club has won the title of the first JNFC Cup organized by Changeup Nepali Football Club, South Korea. In winning the title, Faran defeated Namji Football Club by 2 goals against Zero.
Lukash Gole and Manish Limbu played a decisive role in making the team the winner by scoring for Faran in the final match in the city of Sinthein, South Korea.
Faran Football Club, who became the winner, received 3.5 million Korean won in cash along with the title, while the runner-up Namji got 2 million won with a trophy, medal and certificate.
In the individual category, Bhuwan Jung Karki of Faran was selected as the best goalkeeper. Hari Thapa of Namji became the best defender while Sudesh Jabegu of Faran was chosen as the best midfielder. Manish Limbu and Madan Dulal respectively were declared the best forward and coach of Faran.
Bishal Shahi Thakuri of Myeongdong Boys Club won the top scorer award. Ramesh Gurung from Namji FC was adjudged the player of the tournament. KPS Football Club became a fair play team. All those who excelled in the individual category received 1 lakh won each.
Niraj Saru Magar, chairman of the organizing committee, informed that a total of 21 teams participated in the competition.
