The head coach of the Nepali football team, Vincenzo Alberto Anees, has said that Nepal's performance has improved in the second match against Bahrain.

After losing 3-0 against Bahrain on Tuesday in the second round of FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup, coach Enes said that Nepal played well.

"Played better than the previous game. Tactically played well. There is no league in Nepal. Players only play local cups. Nepal played well today against a strong team", he said in the post match conference. He added that there are many young players in the Nepali team and five players made their debut in two matches.

"Five new players made their debut in two matches. There are 16 players under the age of 23. Only Kiran plays professional league. There are few experienced players. We didn't get much time to prepare," said Anees, "What the players did today is amazing. Bahrain is good in terms of physicality and quality". 

He said that Nepal will return with experience from Bahrain. "The important thing is that we are returning after gaining experience," he said. "If Nepal gets facilities like Bahrain, Nepal can do much better than this."

After losing 5-0 to Bahrain in the first match, Nepal lost 3-0 in the second match. In Group H, Nepal has lost all the four matches played.

With no points, Nepal's chances of reaching the third stage of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers are over. Similarly, the possibility of directly qualifying for the Asian Cup by being in the top two of the group is over.

Coach said that there is an opportunity for Nepal now that the focus will be on the selection of the Asian Cup.

Similarly, Nepal's young midfielder Laken Limbu also said that Nepal performed better in the second match against Bahrain than in the first match. He said that the credit goes to all the players.

Likewise, the coach of Bahrain, Dragan, said that the second match was somewhat difficult as expected.

He said that his players showed character and showed good hope for the future.

Similarly, he said that Nepal's performance was good and he also expressed his belief that Nepal will perform well in the future. He also hoped that if Nepal lost points to UAE, it would be easier for them.
