Central College 28 Bigaha FC has won the title of the first Bharatpur Football Championship.

In the final, 28 Bigaha FC beat Abukhaireni Rural municipality 2-0. Srijan Chhetri and Lakshu Thapa scored for the winners. 28 Bigah took the lead in the 53rd minute of the game with Srijan's goal.

In the 77th minute, Abu Khaireni was limited to 9 players. Dev Gurung received a double yellow card while Saugat Pratap Gurung received a straight red card. 28 Bigaha was also limited to 10 players. Sujit Budhathoki got a red card. They were involved in a brawl.

Srijan, who scored a goal and assisted, became the man of the match.

The winner 28 Bigaha FC received 3 lakh 3 thousand. Abukhaireni, who was limited to the runner-up, received one lakh 50 thousand rupees. Akash Thapa of Abu Khaireni was declared the best player of the tournament.

Ranjit Chaudhary of 28 Bigah FC was declared the best defender and the goalkeeper Birendra Saru Magar of the same club was declared the best goalkeeper. They have received Rs 5,000 each and the opportunity of paragliding from the chowkidanda.

12 teams participated in the tournament organized by Chitwan 11 Football Club on the occasion of Bharatpur visit year 2024.
