
The Nepali team that is going to play friendly football against Malaysia has been bid farewell.
All Nepal Football Association ANFA organized a program on Tuesday to bid farewell to the Nepali team. ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nemwang, ANFA Working Committee Central Member Manish Joshi, Sarila Shrestha, Maniraj Bishta, Purushottam Thapa and others bid farewell to the team.
Nepal is going to play friendly football with Malaysia before the two matches against Bahrain under the FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian joint qualifiers. Nepal is scheduled to play against Malaysia on March 15 i.e. Chaitra 2. The Nepalese team will leave for Malaysia on Wednesday.
As part of the World Cup qualifiers, Nepal is playing two matches against Bahrain on March 21 and 27. Nepal was scheduled to play against Bahrain at its home ground on March 21 but it was not possible due to poor playing field.
That match will now be held in Bahrain.
The head coach Vincenzo Alberto has also announced the Nepali team for the two World Cup qualifying matches against Malaysia and Bahrain.
