Nerpa Sports Club and Khalle Football Club have entered the quarter finals of the fourth ward level men's football tournament.

In the first match at Solma Stadium in Khotang, Nerpa defeated Indrapokhari Sports Development Committee 3-1. Biki Chamling scored two goals in Nerpa's victory and Roshan Chhetri scored one more goal.

Niraj Rai scored the only consolation goal for the defeated Indrapokhari. Biki Chamling, who scored two goals for Nerpa in the match, was also chosen as the man of the match.

Similarly, in the second match, Khalle beat Khotang Football Academy 2-1. Joson Rai scored both goals for Khalle. Roses Shrestha returned the goal for defeated Khotang. Jason Rye, who scored in the game, was declared the man of the match.

The winner of the competition organized by Solma Sports Club, Diktel Rupakot, Mazhuwagadhi Municipality, Ward No. 2, Solma, Khotang will get a cash prize of Rs 1,22,222 and the runner-up will get Rs 71,111. Similarly, the organizers informed that the two teams that will be defeated in the semi-finals will be given Rs 35,555/35,555 cash each.

Likewise, the organizers said that appropriate prizes have been arranged for the individual category as well. Prakash Rai of the organizing club informed that the final match of the competition will be held on the 19th of Falgun.
