Nepal national team will host Bahrain national team in FIFA world cup preliminary joint qualification round 2 match on March 21, 2024.

The match will be played at Dasharath stadium. AFC has confirmed the timing, 7 PM NST KO.

In the qualifiers, Nepal has already lost two group matches, 4-0 loss to UAE (away) & 2-0 loss to Yemen (home).

After playing at home on March 21, Nepal will travel to Bahrain to play an away match on March 27 before hosting UAE at home on June 6.

Nepal will play their last group match against Yemen (away) on June 11.


Nepal are placed fourth with null points in two matches. UAE are atop with six points while Bahrain & Yemen have three points each.

On Tuesday, four important national team players left country for Australia. Head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese will definitely have to scratch his head before finalizing a fighting squad for upcoming qualifiers.
