News Bara: Defending Champs Nawa Durga Club Enters SFs Of 3rd Manaharwa Gold Cup

Defending champions, Nawa Durga Youth Club has entered the semi-finals of the third ongoing Manaharwa Gold Cup in Bara.

Navadurga won easily 5-1 over second side of Bagmati Youth Club in the last quarterfinal match held on Tuesday at Mouwa devi Maidan, Jeetpursimra sub-metropolitan city ward number 18.

With the victory of Navadurga, the match of the semi-finals of the Manharva Gold Cup has been completed. Navadurga will now compete against Regal Hetaunda Resort Makwanpur on Thursday for entering the final. After defeating Rautahat Football Club 5-1, Hetauda had made their way to the last four.

In the first semi-final of the tournament on Wednesday, the host Mouwa devi Yuva Club and Birgunj United will face each other.

On the other hand, foreign players shined while giving an impressive start to Nawa durga, who won the title of the second Manharwa Gold Cup in 2071 B.S. Fodey Fofana completed a hat-trick in Navadurga's victory, while Richard scored twice. Ashiq Syangtan scored a goal for Bagmati. Fofana of Navadurga was declared the man of the match.
