Lalitpur City Football Club, which is undefeated this season in the second Nepal Super League (NSL), has captured the top spot with an excellent victory on Sunday.

Lalitpur scored an impressive 3-1 win over FC Chitwan in the only match at Dasharath Stadium. In the 20th minute of the game, Lalitpur took the lead in the game with the goal of Papa Kebe.

All subsequent goals were scored in the second half. In the 57th minute, Bibek Paudel added the second goal for Lalitpur. That goal became a solid foundation for Lalitpur's victory.

In the 89th minute, Rafiq Aminu scored for Chitwan and tried to bring the team back into the game, but was unsuccessful. Papa Kebe scored the second individual goal and the third goal for the team in the injury time at the end to ensure the victory of the team.

In the match, Bibek Paudel of Lalitpur was elected Man of the Match. He received 30,000 cash and a trophy as an award.

After this result, Lalitpur has climbed to the top of the league table with 9 points from 5 games. And, the second place team is ahead of Dhangadhi by one point. On the other hand, Chitwan, which was defeated, is in sixth place with 5 points.
