FC Chitwan and Butwal Lumbini Football Club shared the points by playing an exciting draw in the only match of the second Nepal Super (NSL) on Thursday.
Even after taking the early lead, Chitwan was unable to save it at the end and ended up in a draw. Chitwan took the lead in the 48th minute of the game with the goal of Utsav Rai. Chitwan took the lead when Butwal's goalkeeper could not properly control Rai's shot.
But Chitwan lost that lead at the last minute. Stephan Samir Binong beat the goalkeeper of Chitwan from near the box in the injury time and scored an equalizing goal for Butwal, and also managed to take away the points from Chitwan.
Chitwan's Torric Jebrin was elected man of the match. He received 30,000 cash and a trophy as an award.
After this result, Chitwan, who has collected 5 points from 4 matches, is in the fifth place in the league table, while Butwal has reached the sixth place with 4 points.
