News Nepal Super League: Pokhara Thunders Move Atop Of Standing

Pokhara Thunders, who are undefeated in the second Nepal Super League (NSL), registered their second win in the league on Wednesday and occupied the top spot in the league table.

Pokhara defeated Sporting Elam FC by a narrow margin of 1 goal against Zero in the only match at Dasharath Stadium and managed to add three important points to their account.

The only goal scored by Sanjiv Bista in the 47th minute of the game was decisive to give Pokhara a narrow victory. Sanjeev Bista, the decisive scorer, was chosen as the man of the match. He received 30,000 cash and a trophy as an award.

With this win, Pokhara, who has collected 8 points from 4 games, has risen to the top spot. And the second place team is one point ahead of Dhangadhi.
