Birganj United Football Club, which is going to participate in the second Nepal Super League (NSL) for the first time, has signed Nepal's international midfielder Tej Tamang as its iconic player.
Tej, who has been living in Australia recently, is also confirmed to play in the Nepal Super League. Remember, Tej also played an important role in making the club champion by playing for Kathmandu Razors in the first edition of NSL.
Sanoj Shrestha is the head coach of Birganj United. Similarly, among the marquee players is Deep Karki, the goalkeeper of the national football team.
Pokhara Thunders announced Dinesh Rajbanshi as their iconic player only on Thursday. Similarly, Bimal Gharti Magar FC Chitwan and Ashish Lama Butwal Lumbini FC have been recognized as iconic players.
It should be remembered that the four players who have been recognized as iconic players so far are international players from Nepal. And, these four players migrated to Australia recently.
The second edition of Nepal Super League (NSL) which is going to be organized by Nepal Sports and Event Management Pvt Ltd and under the special support and management of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) will start from the 24th of November.
