Jhapa: New Star Club, Birtamod Enters SFs Of 3rd New Star International Gold Cup

Hosts New Star club, Birtamod has entered semifinals of 3rd New Star international gold cup football tournament in Jhapa.

New Star club defeated Taplejung DFA 2-1 on Saturday to enter semifinals.

Sanuka limbu & Babin Bohora scored apiece for the winners. Bibek limbu scored one for Taplejung.

Aashish lawati became the player of the match and received NRs 3000.

Barah XI, Sunsari is playing against DSA Bhutan on Sunday. The championship has a winning purse of NRs 2,02,222. Runners up team will get NRs 1,01,000.
