JAG shakti TMT 3rd Gauriganga gold cup football tournament got underway in Gauriganga, Kailali.

Hosts Gauriganga XI defeated Doti XI 3-1 in the opening match played on Tuesday.

Ganesh Lohar (40'), Dinesh Thapa (76') and Janak Saud (81') scored apiece for the winners. Hari Singh scored one for Doti.

Janak Saud became the player of the match.
