MMC has entered semifinals of 6th Far West CM Khaptad gold cup football tournament in Dhangadhi.

MMC defeated Bagmati yuwa club, Sarlahi 2-1 in the quarterfinal match played at Dhangadhi stadium on Monday.

Timothee (37') and Sayidjamol (66') scored apiece for the winners. Srijan Gautam scored one for BYC in 41st minute.

MMC will play against Avenir FC in the semifinal match.

Hosts Far West XI will take on Nepal Police Club on Wednesday.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 21 lakh.
