Ilam district inter municipality cup got underway at Nepaltar, Ilam on Friday.

Ilam municipality defeated Sadakpur rural municipality 3-0 in the opening match.

Fakphokthum rural municipality will play against Mai Jogmai rural municipality on Saturday.

Sakhejung sports development committee is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2 lakh.
