2nd Bardibas Gold Cup: Dharan FC Enters SFs

Dharan FC has entered semifinals of 2nd Bardibas gold cup football tournament in Mahottari district.

Dharan FC defeated Boys Union Club 4-2 on penalties on Sunday to enter last four.

Dorje Tamang, Bartaman Rai, Riwash Maskey and Roman Limbu converted their kicks for Dharan. Susan Lama, Ishwor Baniya scored but Sonu Gurung and Janak Koirala squandered their kicks.

Aashish Karki, Dharan FC goalie, became the player of the match and received NRs 5000 cash.

Bardibas municipality sports development committee is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 5 lakh.
