Bagmati club, Sarlahi has entered semifinals of 2nd Bardibas gold cup football tournament in Mahottari district.

Bagmati club defeated Birgunj United 5-3 on penalties on Thursday to enter semifinals.

Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

Dewa Gurung, Abi Shyagtan, Amar Shrestha, Suman Chamling Rai & Anil Rana Magar converted thei kicks for Bagmati.

Shyam Chaudhary, Ranjaya Chaudhary & Bigyan Chaudhary converted their kicks but Anish Chaudhary squandered the shot.

Anish Chaudhay from Bagmati became the player of the match and received NRs 5000 cash.

Bardibas yuwa club will play against Pema yuwa club, Biratnagar on Friday.
