Sankhuwasabha (GoalNepal) - Hakthum Club have defeated Real Lasune Club on penalties in the opening match of the 44th Hakthum Invitational Men's Football tournament. Hakthum defeated Lasune 5-4 on penalties to win the title.

The regulation time of the match ended 1-1 and the match was sent to penalties, where Hakthum came out victorious.

Hakthum have qualified for the semifinals of the tournament with this win.

The winners of the tournament will receive 1.5 lakh rupees while the runners-up will receive ninety thousand rupees.
