News Chitlang FC Into The Semifinals Of Madi Gold Cup

Chitlang Football Club, Kathmandu have entered the semi-finals of the 24th Madi Gold Cup national football tournament. In the third quarter-final held on Monday, Chitlang secured a place in the last four by defeating Hetauda Football Academy 2-1. 

Hari Budha Magar and Sushant Tamang scored a goal each for Chitlang in a competitive match at Basantpur Bazaar. Sanjib Aryal scored the only goal for Hetauda through a penalty.

Sushant Tamang of Chitlang was declared the Man of the Match in the match. He received 5,000 cash and a trophy as an award. The organizers informed that the last quarterfinal match of the tournament on Magh 0th will be between Central College RFC and Majestic FC, Burkina Faso. 

The winners of the tournament organized by Basantapur United Club, Madi, Chitwan will get a cash prize of three lakhs and the runners-up will get 150,000. The final match will be held on the 14th of Magh.
