Nepal star forward Anjan Bista has signed for I-League side Mumbai Kenkre FC until the end of the current season. He has flown to India today to play for his new club.

The club is, however, yet to announce his arrival officially.

Kenkre are in the relegation zone currently and have roped in Anjan in their quest to stay afloat in the I-League next season. They are currently 11th in the league with ten points from 12 matches.

Anjan, who had only recently signed for Church Boys United will return to Nepal for the A Division League after the I-League season concludes in March.

Nepal number one Kiran Chemjong also plays in the I-League with RoundGlass Punjab FC. Kenkre and Punjab are set to face each other on February 1.
