Nakheel Gurkhas Win Maghe Sankranti Cup In UAE

Nakheel Gurkhas have won the title of Maghe Sankranti Cup 2023 among Nepalese immigrants in the UAE. In the final, Nakheel Gurkhas defeated Royal FC 3-0 to win the title.

Nakheel Gurkhas, who became the winners, received a cash prize of 1,500 dirhams along with the title, while the runner-up Royal FC had to be satisfied 1,000 dirhams.

Former A Division players Bibek Basnet, Roshan Khadka, Santosh Shrestha, Suraj Gurung, Rajendra Gaire, Nabin BK, Manoj Lama and others played for the winning team Nakheel Gurkhas. The organizers informed that a total of eight teams participated in the competition organized by Sunsari Football Club.
