Pokhara (GoalNepal) - Spanish fourth-division side CP Cacereno have registered a routine victory over Gandaki XI in a friendly today. Gandaki were defeated 3-0 by the Spanish side in a friendly played with the slogan 'Football for peace'.

Carmelo Mora gave them the lead in the 22nd minute of the match which was doubled by Mikel Carillero six minutes later. Sergio Ferres added the third goal in the 88th minute of the match.

On Thursday, the Spanish team will play their second match against Kathmandu-11 at the Dasharath Stadium.

Cacereno, who came to Nepal to promote football and tourism in Nepal under the planning and management of the Lumbini Garden Foundation also participate in other football activities during their stay in Nepal for a few days.
