
Kathmandu - Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, the highest body of world football, has announced that the number of teams participating in the FIFA Club World Cup from 2025 will be 32. Speaking at the FIFA council meeting held in Qatar, Infantino made this announcement.
Likewise, President Infantino informed that the 19th edition of the Club World Cup, which will be held from 1 to 11 February 2023, will be held in Morocco. This is the third time Morocco has received the rights to host the Club World Cup. Previously, Morocco also hosted the Club World Cup in 2013 and 2014.
After that, Japan, UAE and Qatar organized the Club World Cup, respectively. Similarly, FIFA has said that there is a plan to organize the Women's Club World Cup as well. In addition, President Infantino said that FIFA plans to organize a World Series between countries of different continents.
